Meagan Preston was born and raised on a hobby farm in rural Langley B.C. and eventually lived in

the Fraser Valley until 2013 when she relocated to beautiful Merritt B.C. Meagan has many years of

corporate business, branding and marketing experience, as well as event planning and execution.

Meagan sees Merritt and the surrounding area from a different perspective than those who have

resided here for years. Quite simply, she sees it as an incredibly diverse place to live that is full of

undiscovered opportunity in so many ways. To her, living in Merritt feels like living in a permanent

vacation spot with 4 amazing seasons. She describes the most appealing part of Merritt being the

small town feel when you enter a business and people know you by name, when they go that extra

mile with customer service, know your “usual” at the eateries around town, and the many places she can take people visiting that are “out of the norm”. The slower pace of life in Merritt has also been

very appealing and has encouraged her to get out and be more active outdoors fly fishing, camping,

and exploring the back country. For her it is all about the experience of living in Merritt.
